- Sorrel - 14.1 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Vanilla - to taste
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
- Milk - 0.3 cups
- Baking Powder - a pinch
- Lemon - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, I make the filling. For this, finely chop the sorrel and mix it with sugar and vanilla. Let it steep (while preparing the dough) so that the sorrel releases its juice. You can add a few drops of lemon.
Step 2
In the flour, add the egg, milk, oil, salt, sugar, and baking powder. Mix everything thoroughly until you get a homogeneous mass.
Step 3
Roll out the dough into a form. Lay out the sorrel. For decoration, you can make a lattice from the dough on top, or you can leave the pie open.
Step 4
Place in the oven preheated to 392°F for 40 minutes.
