Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - 1½ cups
- Margarine - 3.5 oz
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Gelatin - 1 tablespoon
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the dough, you will need: chicken eggs — 3 pieces; flour — 1 cup; sugar — 0.5 cup; margarine — 100 grams; baking powder — 2 teaspoons.
Step 2
For the soufflé, you will need: egg whites — 3 pieces; sugar — 1 cup; lemon juice — 1 teaspoon; gelatin — 1 tablespoon.
Step 3
Separate the yolks from the whites. Keep the whites for the soufflé, and beat the yolks with sugar, adding softened margarine. Gradually add flour mixed with baking powder. Place the dough in a mold and bake at 180–392°F for 20 minutes. Remove the cake from the mold and let it cool completely.
Step 4
Soak the gelatin in 60 ml of cold water and let it swell. Place the gelatin in the microwave for 30 seconds to dissolve. Cool it down. Whip the egg whites, adding lemon juice. Gradually add sugar while continuing to whip. Whip until stiff peaks form. Slowly add the cooled gelatin and whip everything together.
Step 5
Line a springform pan with plastic wrap, allowing the edges to hang over. Place the cake layer in, pour the soufflé on top, and refrigerate until set. Then remove the cake from the mold by pulling up on the edges of the plastic wrap, and pour melted chocolate or glaze over it.
