Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Semolina - 0.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 fl oz
- Water - 11 fl oz
- Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the flour with semolina, rub the yeast until it forms fine crumbs. Add salt, olive oil, and water. Place the dough on a surface and knead. Shape into a ball and let the dough rest for 1 hour.
Step 2
Lightly grease the outside of clay bowls with a diameter of about 12 cm.
Step 3
Place the dough on a surface and cut it into 12 pieces. Roll the pieces out on a floured surface.
Step 4
Cover the inverted bowls with the dough. Let sit for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Preheat the oven to 482°F.
Step 6
Place the bowls in the oven, reduce the temperature to 392°F, and bake for 20–25 minutes.
Step 7
Allow the slightly baked bowls to cool and remove them from the molds.
