Description
For the cream, you can use heavy whipping cream instead of sour cream.
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 1½ glasses
- Cocoa Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Sour Cream - 10.6 oz
- Sugar - 1 glass
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with a cup of sugar.
Step 2
Add sour cream (25% fat) to the mixture and stir.
Step 3
Add baking powder (or the same amount of baking soda mixed with vinegar or lemon juice) and gradually incorporate the flour.
Step 4
Divide the mixture into two equal parts. Add cocoa to one of the parts.
Step 5
Divide each of the 2 pieces in half, resulting in 4 layers. Pour the batter into appropriately deep baking pans and bake for 20–25 minutes at 446°F.
Step 6
For the cream, whip the sour cream and sugar together, then add the zest removed from the lemon.
Step 7
Spread the cream between the layers, alternating between white and chocolate layers. Place the cake in the refrigerator to allow the cream to set.
Step 8
For decorating the finished cake, use any berries — strawberries, blackberries, raspberries.
