Sour Cream Cookies with Nuts and Raisins
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 2 cups
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Sour Cream - 7.1 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Chopped almonds - 8.8 oz
- Light Raisins, Seedless - 1.4 oz
- Vanillin - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the flour into a bowl and grate the cold, solid butter into it.
Step 2
Mix the baking soda with the sour cream and pour it into the bowl with the flour and butter.
Step 3
Add 3 egg yolks (put the whites in the refrigerator).
Step 4
Add vanillin.
Step 5
Mix the entire mass with your hands until it stops sticking (if it still sticks, add a little more flour).
Step 6
Divide the dough into 3 parts, roll them into balls, and place them in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Step 7
Meanwhile, prepare the filling. Take out the egg whites, beat them until stiff, add sugar, beat again, and place in the refrigerator.
Step 8
Take the chopped nuts and raisins, and mix them together.
Step 9
Take a ball of dough, roll it out. Spread 1/3 of the white mixture on the dough, then evenly sprinkle 1/3 of the nuts and raisins on top (leaving a little space from the edges of the rolled-out dough).
Step 10
Roll it up like a log. Cut it like bread, and place the cut pieces on a baking sheet.
Step 11
Repeat the same process with the second and third balls of dough.
Step 12
Bake for 20 minutes at 356°F.
