Ingredients
- Brown Sugar - ¼ cup
- Ground Cumin - 2 teaspoons
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Coarse Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Dried Chamomile - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Water - 1 tablespoon
- Egg white - 1 piece
- Chopped almonds - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix together the sugar, cumin, paprika, thyme, salt, and cayenne pepper.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk the egg white with water. Add the nuts, mix well, and place in a sieve to drain excess liquid.
Step 3
Transfer the nuts to the spice mixture and mix well. Spread in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Stir, reduce the temperature to 90–203°F (194–203 degrees Fahrenheit), and bake for another 30 minutes. Let cool.
Step 6
Preheat the oven to 135–284°F (275–284 degrees Fahrenheit).
