- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Walnuts - 4.6 oz
- Raisins - 6.7 oz
- Vinegar essence - 1 teaspoon
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg - a pinch
- Ground Cinnamon - a pinch
- Grated Ginger Root - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat two eggs. Add one cup of sugar and beat again.
Step 2
Add baking soda mixed with vinegar. Stir.
Step 3
Add spices: nutmeg, cinnamon, and ground ginger. Stir.
Step 4
Pour in the flour. Stir.
Step 5
Chop the walnuts and add them to the dough. Add raisins. Stir.
Step 6
Spoon the mixture onto a baking sheet lined with non-stick coating or parchment paper. Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15–20 minutes.
Step 7
Remove from the oven and let cool. Cut into bite-sized pieces.
