Description
The finished cookies can be decorated with royal icing. To prepare it, beat the egg white of one egg until stiff peaks form, then add 2 cups of powdered sugar and a teaspoon of lemon juice. If desired, you can also add food coloring. Decorate the cookies with icing using a piping bag.

- Wheat Flour - 2½ cups
- Salt - a pinch
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - 1½ teaspoons
- Clarified Butter - 4.2 oz
- Brown Sugar - ¾ cup
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Honey - 2½ tablespoons

Mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and spices in a bowl and set aside.

Beat the butter with sugar using a mixer. Add the egg and honey, and mix everything together.

Now combine the dry and wet ingredients to form a dough. Divide it into several parts, roll them into balls, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least an hour.
Step 4
After that, take the dough out, roll it out to a thickness of 1 cm, and cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Place the finished shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 392°F for 8–12 minutes.
