Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 8.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Water - 3 spoons
- 10% cream - 3 fl oz
- Frozen spinach discs - 14.1 oz
- Feta cheese - 12.3 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the dough: mix the flour, butter, 1 egg, a pinch of salt, and three tablespoons of cold water, wrap it in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 2
Filling: Whisk 2 eggs, then add cream, chopped spinach, and feta cheese. You can add salt, but remember that feta is quite salty on its own.
Step 3
Spread the dough evenly in the baking dish, using your fingertips to smooth it out (reserve a little for decoration). Add the filling. Roll out the remaining dough into a thin sheet and cut it into thin strips. Use the strips to decorate the pie.
Step 4
Bake at 392°F for 40–45 minutes.
