Description

Sponge Cake "Count's Ruins"

Ingredients

  • Sugar - 30 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 10 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 9 tablespoons
  • Butter - 8.8 oz
  • Condensed Milk - 1 can
  • Sour Cream - 17.6 oz
  • Milk - 1 fl oz
  • Vanillin - 0.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Bake 2 sponge cakes. For one sponge cake, you will need 5 eggs, 200 grams of sugar, and 200 grams of flour. Add 3 tablespoons of cocoa to one batter and 1 packet of vanillin to the other. Bake for 30 minutes at 356°F.

Step 2

Make the cream. For this, mix 200 grams of butter, condensed milk, and 3 tablespoons of cocoa. For the second cream, whip 500 grams of sour cream with 200 grams of sugar.

Step 3

Cut the cakes in half. Take one half of each color, spread butter cream in the middle and on the entire cake.

Step 4

Cut the two second halves into pieces and dip them in the sour cream for 10 minutes.

Step 5

Then, randomly place the pieces on the cake to resemble ruins. Drizzle the remaining sour cream over the cake.

Step 6

For the glaze, mix 50 grams of milk, 50 grams of sugar, 50 grams of butter, and 3 tablespoons of cocoa. Bring to a boil. Let it cool slightly and pour over the cake.

Step 7

Place the finished cake in the refrigerator to soak.
