Description
Sponge Cake with Marshmallows
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Wheat Flour - 1 cup
- Activated Baking Soda - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Cherry - 28.2 oz
- Marshmallow - 3 pieces
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Condensed Milk - 1 can
- Safflower Oil - 0 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs and sugar. Very well and for as long as possible.
Step 2
Add the flour. Beat again very well.
Step 3
Dissolve the baking soda, preferably with lemon juice. Add salt.
Step 4
Grease the sheets of paper and lay them on the baking tray. Pour the batter into it.
Step 5
Place in the oven at 392°F for 20–40 minutes (watch it, but do not open too often).
Step 6
Make the cream. Mix the butter with the condensed milk, beating as thoroughly as possible until a smooth cream is achieved.
Step 7
Next, remove the finished sponge, cut it into parts as best as you can. You can also bake another one with cocoa to alternate colors.
Step 8
Then spread the cream on the layer, place cherries around the edges and in the center, and cut out marshmallow slices from it. In fact, you can put anything you like, absolutely different fruits, or even without marshmallows, but I did it this way.
Step 9
Fill all the layers as you wish and decorate the top with something. I made an inscription with sugar pens and sprinkled grated chocolate on top.
Step 10
It’s better to make it the night before so it can soak in the refrigerator.
