- Red Grape Juice - 13 fl oz
- Sugar - 3.2 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the wine, lemon juice, and sugar in a bowl. A wine with bright fruity notes, such as Barbera, Valpolicella, or Merlot, will work well.
Step 2
Add the strawberries (if they are large, you can cut them in half), mix gently, and let them sit at room temperature for an hour. Then, refrigerate for a maximum of one hour, as otherwise the strawberries will become too soft.
Step 3
Serve the strawberries in small bowls with their own juice.
