Ingredients

  • Strawberry - 10.6 oz
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour - 1½ cups
  • Vegetable Oil - ½ cup
  • Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - ¼ teaspoon
  • Chopped almonds - ½ cup

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 356°F. Grease a round pie pan (about 23 cm in diameter) with oil.

Step 2

In a blender, puree the strawberries. In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and vegetable oil. Then add the strawberry puree and mix well.

Step 3

In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Then add the strawberry mixture and knead well. Add the nuts.

Step 4

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake until done, about 50 minutes. Then cool for 10 minutes in the pan and transfer to a plate. Let cool.
