Strawberry Burfi
Ingredients
- Dry Malted Milk Powder - 12.3 oz
- Butter - 6.3 oz
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- 10% cream - 7 fl oz
- Vanillin - 1.1 oz
- Strawberry - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Melt the butter in a pan.
Step 2
Add sugar to the butter. When the mixture starts to boil, pour in the heavy cream while stirring thoroughly.
Step 3
Add the strawberries. Store-bought frozen strawberries will soften in the pan quite easily, but it's better to puree fresh strawberries beforehand.
Step 4
Stir constantly until the mixture is homogeneous.
Step 5
Gradually add the dry milk. Be careful, the final consistency should match that of very thick, firm sour cream. Adjust the amount of dry milk added.
Step 6
Turn off the heat and mix the mixture further using a mixer.
Step 7
Transfer to a mold (it's better to line it with plastic wrap) and place it in the freezer until completely set.
