Description

The recipe used mascarpone cheese, but I used creamy cheese instead!

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour - 14.1 oz
  • Butter - 3.5 oz
  • Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
  • Semi-soft cream cheese - 21.2 oz
  • 33% Cream - 5 fl oz
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Strawberry - 28.2 oz
  • Chopped almonds - to taste
  • Sugar - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a saucepan, bring a cup of water to a boil with butter and salt. Continuously stir in the sifted flour. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring, until the mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Step 2

Lightly beat the eggs, then gradually add them to the batter in small portions, mixing thoroughly with a wooden spatula each time.

Step 3

Cut out 14 circles from parchment paper, each with a diameter of 25 cm. Spread a thin layer of dough onto the paper (the paper should be slightly visible through the dough). Preheat the oven to 356°F. Place the circles in the oven and bake in batches for 14–16 minutes. Allow to cool.

Step 4

Whip the cheese together with the cream and sugar. Wash the strawberries, dry them, and slice them.

Step 5

Spread cream cheese on all the cake layers, layer with sliced strawberries (except for one), and stack them on top of each other.

Step 6

Cover with the final layer, sprinkle with almond flakes, and decorate. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
