- Baking Powder - 0.2 oz
- Butter - 9.3 oz
- Sugar - 4.4 oz
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour - 4.4 oz
- Milk - 4 tablespoons
- Powdered Sugar - 9.9 oz
- Red Food Coloring - to taste
- Chili jam - 4 tablespoons
- Pastry decorations - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 374°F. In a bowl, beat 125 grams of room temperature butter with sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, flour, baking powder, and two tablespoons of milk, and mix well until smooth.
Step 2
Spoon the batter into cake molds or paper liners. Place in the oven and bake until the cupcakes rise and feel firm when pressed in the center (about 10–12 minutes). Remove from the oven and let cool.
Step 3
For the frosting, beat the remaining butter (140 g) in a bowl until it becomes a smooth and creamy consistency. Add half of the powdered sugar and beat until light and fluffy.
Step 4
Add the remaining powdered sugar and 2 tablespoons of milk, and beat again. Incorporate the strawberry jam and continue mixing. If the consistency seems too thick, you can add a little more milk.
Step 5
Add food coloring to achieve a uniform pink color in the frosting. The amount of coloring depends on the desired final shade. For easier mixing, you can add the coloring to the milk from step 4.
Step 6
Pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes using a piping bag, creating your desired design and shape. Sprinkle decorative sprinkles on top. You can chill the cupcakes in the refrigerator to set the frosting.
