Ingredients
- Condensed Milk - 12 oz
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Strawberry - 9.7 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 21.2 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grease a baking dish (approximately 9x9 inches) with butter.
Step 2
Combine the condensed milk, powdered sugar, and butter in a large saucepan; bring to a boil over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the strawberries and lemon juice. Cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 112–239°F or, if you don't have a kitchen thermometer, until it reaches the 'soft ball' stage (if you drop a bit of the mixture into a glass of cold water, it should form a soft ball rather than spread out).
Step 4
Remove from heat and quickly pour the mixture into the dish. Once the mixture starts to set, you can create patterns with a knife. Allow it to cool completely before cutting.
