Strawberry Honey Oat Mousse
Ingredients
- Strawberry - 11.5 oz
- Oat flakes - 1 tablespoon
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 0.3 cup
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Red Currant - 1 stem
- Fresh Mint - 1 stem
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the strawberries, dry them with a paper towel, place them in a container, and blend with a blender.
Step 2
Separate the egg whites from the yolks, place them in a container, and blend with a blender until thick and fluffy, add sugar and blend again.
Step 3
Combine the strawberry mixture and the egg mixture.
Step 4
Grease the molds with butter.
Step 5
Mix the oat flakes with honey and softened butter.
Step 6
Spread the oat mixture on the bottom of the molds, then pour the soufflé on top.
Step 7
Cover the molds with foil (if cooking in a steamer) or leave uncovered (if in the oven) and bake for 15–20 minutes in the steamer/oven.
Step 8
Cool the finished dish, garnish with a sprig of red currant and mint, and serve with a smile and rosé wine.
