Description

This not the quickest, but simplest roll is made by Katherine — a blogger from 'Honest Baker'. It's best to prepare it in late spring to early summer when fresh and delicious strawberries are abundant in the markets.

Ingredients

  • Ladyfinger Cookies - 6.3 oz
  • Milk - 5 fl oz
  • Strawberry - 10.6 oz
  • 33% Cream - 7 fl oz
  • Semi-soft cream cheese - 8.8 oz
  • Powdered Sugar - 2 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cover a board or flat plate with parchment paper or plastic wrap.

Step 2

Dip the cookies in milk and lay them out on the surface in two rows. Try not to soak the cookies in milk for too long to avoid them turning into mush.

Step 3

Whip the cream until peaks form.

Step 4

Add the cheese and powdered sugar, and whip everything together again.

Step 5

Spread the cream over the cookies and smooth it out.

Step 6

Set aside some cream for decoration.

Step 7

Place the strawberries in the center. Make sure the berries are roughly the same size.

Step 8

Roll the cake using the parchment paper.

Step 9

Refrigerate for 2 hours.

Step 10

Remove the parchment paper.

Step 11

Decorate the roll with the remaining cream, strawberries, and mint.
