Strawberry Sorbet
Ingredients
- Water - ¾ cup
- Sugar - ¾ cup
- Freeze-dried strawberry powder - 31.7 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar and place over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let cool.
Step 2
Transfer the thawed strawberries to a blender and add the syrup. Puree until smooth. Then strain through a sieve into a bowl. Add lemon juice. Place the bowl over ice and chill, stirring, for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture to an ice cream maker or a container and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours, stirring every half hour.
