Strawberry with Cream Roll
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Vanilla salt - 0.3 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4 tablespoons
- Vegetable Oil - 4 tablespoons
- Baking Powder - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- 10% cream - 12 fl oz
- White Chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Dr. Oetker Cream Stabilizer - 0.4 oz
- Strawberry - 10.6 oz
- Powdered Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the cream, chop the chocolate, place it in a saucepan with 150 ml of cream, and melt it over low heat, stirring occasionally. Then let it cool.
Step 2
Whip 200 ml of cream with powdered sugar and cream stabilizer. Gradually add the cooled mixture with white chocolate. Place the finished cream in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Step 3
For the dough, whip the egg whites, gradually adding 2 tablespoons of sugar and a pinch of salt.
Step 4
Whip the yolks with the remaining sugar and vanilla. While continuing to whip, gradually pour in the oil. Gently fold the yolk mixture into the egg white mixture. Gradually add the flour mixed with baking powder.
Step 5
Line a baking sheet (14x11 inches) with parchment paper and grease it with vegetable oil. Carefully spread the prepared dough.
Step 6
Bake in a preheated oven at 356°F (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Cover the baked layer with a kitchen towel, quickly flip it over, and remove the parchment.
Step 7
Carefully roll the still hot layer into a roll with the towel. Leave it to cool. Cut the strawberries into small cubes (set aside a few berries for decoration).
Step 8
Unroll the cooled roll, spread with cream (set aside some for decoration). Evenly place the strawberries on the cream. Roll it back into a roll. Trim the edges.
Step 9
Spread the finished roll with the remaining cream, decorate with strawberries and chocolate shavings. Serve chilled.
