Description

Don't worry if the cookies still seem soft after baking. They will harden on their own after a few minutes.

Ingredients

  • Butter - 7.1 oz
  • Wheat Flour - 3 cups
  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Activated Baking Soda - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Add sugar to the melted butter, then add the egg, and mix everything thoroughly.

Step 2

Gradually add the flour and knead the dough until it is homogeneous.

Step 3

Mix the lemon juice with the baking soda and add it to the other ingredients. The dough should not be liquid.

Step 4

Refrigerate the dough for half an hour, then shape it into small balls by hand (if you want all the cookies to be the same size, roll out the dough with a rolling pin, use a glass to cut out circles, and then roll them into balls).

Step 5

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, grease it with vegetable oil, and place the balls far apart, as they will spread into large flat cookies during baking.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 338°F and bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.
