Description
Once again, I made it without sugar, and in the morning I indulged in cookies with honey — the taste is incredible, plus you can adjust the sweetness to your liking. You can whip the egg whites with powdered sugar or use different sauces and toppings. I made it with coconut flakes using the exact same recipe, and the aroma filled the entire apartment, but with almonds, of course, it’s much tastier (at least for me), even though I am a huge fan of coconut.
Ingredients
- Chopped almonds - 7.1 oz
- Cinnamon - 0.4 oz
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- Vanillin - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grind the almonds in a blender into fine crumbs (the finer the pieces, the more delicate the cookies will be), add the cinnamon and vanillin.
Step 2
Whip the egg whites into a stiff foam.
Step 3
Combine the egg whites with the almond-cinnamon mixture until homogeneous, but do not stir too much to avoid breaking the bubbles in the egg whites.
Step 4
Spoon the dough onto a silicone mat and place it in a preheated oven at 320°F. Bake until lightly golden.
