If you happen to have a bottle of Cointreau or any other bitter citrus liqueur, add a drop to the dressing — the aroma will be amazing!)
Ingredients
- Strawberry - 10.6 oz
- Musk melon - 1 piece
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
- Lime - 1 piece
- Mint - 0.2 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the melon into large cubes. If you have the time and desire, you can scoop out balls from the melon using a melon baller. I must admit, I tend to be a bit lazy about doing that). Cut the strawberries in half and mix them with the melon.
Step 2
Squeeze the juice from the lime (rolling it firmly on a flat surface beforehand) and grate a bit of zest, about a teaspoon). Thoroughly mix the lime juice and zest with the honey using a whisk.
Step 3
Dress the salad with the prepared dressing and let it sit for about 5–7 minutes before serving, generously sprinkling with powdered sugar and garnishing with a sprig of mint.
