Description

For extra crunch, I recommend drying the finished sliced candies for another 15 minutes at 110°C.

Ingredients

  • Sunflower Seeds - 7.8 oz
  • Sesame Seeds - 0.7 oz
  • Bananas - ½ piece
  • Unrefined Sunflower Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 3.5 oz
  • Ground Cinnamon - to taste
  • Ground Nutmeg - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel half of the banana and puree it thoroughly.

Step 2

Add the oil, honey, previously dried seeds, and spices (if desired) to the banana puree.

Step 3

Spread the mixture evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (about 0.8-1 cm thick).

Step 4

Bake the future candies in a preheated oven at 120°C for about 60-70 minutes (until golden amber), then let cool, cut into pieces, and enjoy as energy bars.
