  • Milk - 8 fl oz
  • Salt - to taste
  • Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
  • Dry yeast - 0.5 oz
  • Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
  • Sugar - 1.4 oz
  • Butter - 2.1 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat it to body temperature. Rub the yeast into the flour until it forms fine crumbs. Then rub in the butter, add salt, sugar, and then the eggs and milk. Knead the dough and let it rise, covered, for 1 hour.

Step 2

On a floured surface, shape the dough into a loaf. Place it on a baking sheet lined with a towel and dusted with flour, seam side down, and let it rise for 1 hour.

Step 3

Preheat the oven to 482°F.

Step 4

Transfer the loaf onto an inverted baking sheet and make a slash on top.

Step 5

Spray the oven walls with water from a spray bottle, place the loaf inside, and bake until done.
