- Cottage cheese - 17.6 oz
- Butter - 12.3 oz
- Vanillin - 1½ pieces
- Sugar - 17.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 22.9 oz
- Activated Baking Soda - 2 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the cottage cheese with softened butter until smooth.
Step 2
Combine the flour, vanillin, and baking soda.
Step 3
Add to the cottage cheese and butter mixture.
Step 4
The dough should be soft but not sticky; if it is sticky, add more flour.
Step 5
Form a ball of dough weighing 80 grams.
Step 6
Sprinkle sugar evenly on a plate.
Step 7
Place the ball on the sugar and flatten it with your palm to form a cake with a diameter of 8 cm.
Step 8
Fold the cake in half, with the sugar side inside.
Step 9
Press one side back into the sugar.
Step 10
Fold in half with the sugar side inside and press again into the sugar.
Step 11
Place on a baking sheet with the non-sugar side down.
Step 12
Bake at 356°F for 15–20 minutes.
