Description
Drunken casserole, or dracheena, is a simple casserole reminiscent of an omelet. Originally, this dish was ritualistic — much like pancakes, it was traditionally taken to the cemetery on memorial days, but there's nothing stopping you from making it for breakfast. Our recipe is basic, but you can substitute milk with buttermilk or plant-based milk, or add potatoes, nuts, or dried fruits. Drunken casserole forgives all.
