- Honey - 7 tablespoons
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
- Dried Apricots - 2.5 oz
- Walnuts - 70 pieces
- Raisins - 2.5 oz
- Egg white - 2 pieces
- Granulated sugar - 3.5 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Roll out the puff pastry thinly, brush it with honey, and layer the blended dried fruits (apricots, raisins, walnuts, etc.) on top. Drizzle a little more honey on top.
Step 2
Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
Step 3
While the pastry is baking, make the meringue: whip the egg whites and sugar until frothy.
Step 4
Remove the pie from the oven and spread the meringue on top. Return to the oven for another 5-7 minutes until it is golden brown.
