- Pumpkin - 1 piece
- Sugar - 5 tablespoons
- Salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - ¼ teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root - ¼ teaspoon
- Cayenne Pepper - a pinch
- Peanut Butter - 1½ tablespoons

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 248°F (250 degrees Fahrenheit). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Remove the seeds from the pumpkin — you should have about 1 cup of seeds. Spread the seeds on the baking sheet and bake for about 1 hour, until the seeds are dry. Let cool.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of sugar, salt, cumin, cinnamon, ginger, and cayenne pepper.
Step 4
In a skillet, heat the peanut butter and add the pumpkin seeds and remaining sugar. Cook until caramelized for about 45–60 seconds. Transfer to the bowl with the spices and mix well. Let cool.
