Tacos with Chickpeas and Avocado

Ingredients

  • Tortillas - 2 pieces
  • Lime - 1 piece
  • Chickpea - 3.5 oz
  • Romaine lettuce - 1.1 oz
  • Onion - 2.8 oz
  • Avocado - ½ piece
  • Tomatoes - 2.1 oz
  • Sour Cream - 1.6 oz
  • Habanero Pepper - 1.1 oz
  • Cilantro - 0.2 oz
  • Paprika - 0 oz
  • Olive Oil - 0 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon, chop randomly (if the avocado is firm, peel it and chop randomly), slice the tomato into wedges, peel and dice it finely, slice the onion into half rings, chop the jalapeño finely, and finely chop the cilantro stems.

Step 2

Sauté the onion over high heat in olive oil for 1.5 minutes.

Step 3

Mix the chickpeas with paprika, slightly mash with a spoon, add avocado, tomatoes, jalapeño, chopped cilantro stems, mix, lightly salt, and drizzle with the juice of half a lime.

Step 4

Place a leaf of lettuce on the tortilla.

Step 5

Add the filling on top of the lettuce leaf, then add the onion.

Step 6

Drizzle with sour cream.

Step 7

Garnish with cilantro and serve.
