Ingredients
- Green Apples - 7 pieces
- Honey - 10.6 oz
- Butter - 5.3 oz
- Rosemary - a pinch
- Unleavened dough - 10.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F. Peel and cut the large green apples (Granny Smith or a similar variety with a bright sour taste) into quarters.
Step 2
Tightly arrange the apples in circles in a baking dish. Pour 300 grams of honey into the dish. Cut the 150 grams of butter into small pieces and scatter it over the apples.
Step 3
Place the dish over low heat and cook until the butter melts. Lightly sprinkle the apples with rosemary. Lay the rolled-out unleavened dough over the apples and tuck the edges under.
Step 4
Bake for 45 minutes, then invert onto a plate when serving.
