Ingredients
- Raisins - 7.9 oz
- Blackcurrant liqueur - 7.9 oz
- Sultanas - 7.9 oz
- Candied fruits - 3.9 oz
- Demerara Sugar - 7.9 oz
- Pecan - 3.9 oz
- Black tea - 9 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Milk - 2 tablespoons
- Self-rising flour - 15.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the sugar in hot tea. Place the raisins, blackcurrants, sultanas, and candied fruits in a bowl, pour the sweet tea over them, cover, and leave overnight.
Step 2
Beat the egg with the milk.
Step 3
Toast the pecans at 338°F for 6-8 minutes. Once cooled, chop the nuts.
Step 4
Add the egg and milk mixture and the toasted nuts to the bowl with the fruits, sift in the flour, and mix well.
Step 5
Divide the resulting mixture into 2 parts, place in parchment-lined molds, and bake for 1.5 hours at 338°F.
