- Green Apples - 3 pieces
- Pickled Apples - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Margarine - 1.8 oz
- Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
- Sugar - 5.3 oz
- Baking Powder - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon - to taste
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the apples and remove the seeds. Cut the green apples into cubes and sprinkle them with lemon juice in a bowl; slice the red apples into thin wedges.
Step 2
Using a mixer, beat the egg whites until frothy, gradually add the sugar, then incorporate the egg yolks one at a time. Add the vanilla and melted margarine, and gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3
Grease the baking dish with butter, pour a thin layer of the prepared mixture, arrange the diced green apples on top, and pour the remaining mixture over them, placing the apple slices in a circular pattern across the surface.
Step 4
Brush the apples with butter, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake for 20–25 minutes at 392°F.
