- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
- Marinated cherries - 10.6 oz
- Wheat Flour - 4.6 oz
Step by Step guide

Heat the butter, add the sugar, and mix well.

Add the eggs one at a time and beat until fluffy.
Step 3
Add the vanilla sugar, flour, and baking powder. Mix until a smooth dough forms.
Step 4
Pour the dough into a baking pan. Don't worry if there seems to be little dough—it will rise significantly during baking.
Step 5
Place the cherries (remove pits from fresh berries, drain juice from frozen ones after thawing) into the dough, pressing them in.
Step 6
Bake at 356°F until done (about 15–20 minutes).
Step 7
Before serving, dust with powdered sugar.
