Ingredients

  • Sugar - 2 cups
  • Light Corn Syrup - 2 tablespoons
  • Milk - ¾ cup
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Peanut Butter - 2.8 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Grease a 20x20 cm (8x8 inch) square pan with butter.

Step 2

In a saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, milk, and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook until the mixture reaches 239°F (239 degrees Fahrenheit), until it becomes caramel.

Step 3

Remove from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter. Mix well.

Step 4

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and beat until it starts to thicken.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and let it set.

Step 6

Cut into rectangles.
