Ingredients
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 8.8 oz
- Savoiardi Cookies - 3.5 oz
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Egg white - 3 pieces
- Espresso - 1 cup
- Rum - 1 fl oz
- Cocoa Powder - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk the egg yolks with sugar.
Step 2
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
Step 3
Add the mascarpone to the whipped yolks and fold in the whipped egg whites. Mix until smooth.
Step 4
Pour the rum into the coffee. Quickly dip the cookies in the rum-coffee mixture. Arrange them tightly at the bottom of the dish.
Step 5
Pour the cheese and egg cream over the cookies.
Step 6
Repeat the process 2–3 times.
Step 7
Refrigerate for a few hours.
Step 8
Before serving, dust generously with cocoa powder.
