Ingredients
- Tilapia - 6 pieces
- Pickles - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Safflower Oil - to taste
- Puff Pastry - 17.6 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thaw the pastry and fish.
Step 2
Sauté the fish over low heat in a small amount of oil until it turns white. Pat dry.
Step 3
Slice the onion into half rings and pour boiling water over it.
Step 4
Cut the pickles into long strips lengthwise.
Step 5
Roll out the first layer of pastry and place it on a greased baking sheet.
Step 6
Place the fish on the pastry. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 7
Top the fish with half of the onion, then the pickles, and then the remaining onion.
Step 8
Roll out the second layer of pastry. Cover the pie and pinch the edges tightly.
Step 9
Brush the pie with the egg and place it in the oven for 25 minutes at 392°F.
