Tiramisu Ice Cream
Ingredients
- Milk - 8 fl oz
- Whole egg - 5 pieces
- Sugar - 3.5 oz
- Muscat Wine - 6 tablespoons
- Ground Coffee - 4 tablespoons
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 8.8 oz
- Bitter - 1.8 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Whisk the eggs, sugar, and wine in a heatproof bowl. Bring the milk to a boil and whisk the eggs. Place the bowl over a pot of gently simmering water and stir the mixture until it reaches the consistency of thick cream.
Step 2
Remove the bowl from heat and add the brewed coffee and mascarpone, mixing until smooth.
Step 3
Cool completely, pour the mixture into an ice cream maker, and churn the ice cream. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow container, cover, and freeze for 3 hours, stirring 2–3 times during that time.
Step 4
Before serving, let it soften slightly. Scoop a couple of balls into glasses or bowls and serve with cookies, sprinkled with grated chocolate.
