Description

You can use any shape for the dessert: a glass bowl, a container, a flat-bottomed cake plate, or individual serving dishes like compotes or small vases. The main thing is to use a rectangular shape. To achieve the perfect soaking, dip the biscuits for exactly 1 second; otherwise, they will turn into mush!

Ingredients

  • Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 17.6 oz
  • Savoiardi Cookies - 24 pieces
  • Chicken Egg - 3 pieces
  • Coffee Liqueur - 2 spoons
  • Liquid dark chocolate - 1.8 oz
  • Cocoa Powder - 3 spoons
  • Powdered Sugar - ½ glasses
  • Freshly brewed green tea - 5 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Step 2

Whisk the egg whites until they form stiff peaks.

Step 3

In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks and sugar together, then add the cheese and mix thoroughly until you achieve a smooth consistency. Gradually fold the egg whites into the resulting cream in small portions.

Step 4

Brew the coffee in advance and let it cool to room temperature. Add 2–3 tablespoons of liqueur (to taste) and pour it into a deep plate or any other container that is convenient for dipping the cookies.

Step 5

Assemble the layers of the dessert. To do this, dip each cookie horizontally into the coffee for exactly 1 second (only the bottom part of the cookie should be wet) and place it in the dish. The next layer is half of the cream. Then add another layer of cookies followed by a second layer of cream.

Step 6

Place everything in the refrigerator overnight.

Step 7

Before serving, garnish with grated chocolate and cocoa (sifted through a fine sieve). You can also use strawberries and whipped cream for decoration.
