- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Sugar - 7.1 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 5.3 oz
- Vanilla salt - 0.7 oz
- Chocolate eggs - 2 pieces
- Oranges - 3 pieces
- Baking Powder - 1 teaspoon
- Gelatin - 6 sheets
- Semi-soft cream cheese - 17.6 oz
- Mascarpone Cheese Unagrande - 8.8 oz
- Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Cocoa Powder - to taste
- Ground clove - ½ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Grease the baking dish with butter and dust with flour. Chop the chocolate and melt it in a water bath. Let it cool.
Step 2
Mix the butter and 100 g of sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt, and start beating with a mixer. Add the eggs one at a time.
Step 3
Combine the flour and baking powder, sift, and mix again. Add the melted chocolate and stir.
Step 4
Pour the mixture into the baking dish and bake at 356°F for 20 minutes. Remove, cover with a towel, and let cool for 15–20 minutes.
Step 5
Peel the oranges, removing the membrane and pith. Cut the flesh from two oranges into pieces. Squeeze the membrane and collect the juice.
Step 6
Soak the gelatin in cold water. Mix the cottage cheese, mascarpone, and orange juice. Add the remaining sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Beat with a mixer for 3–5 minutes. Squeeze the gelatin, place it over low heat to slightly melt. Mix with 2 tablespoons of the cream. Gradually add the cream. Add the orange pieces.
Step 7
Spread the mixture over the cake layer and refrigerate for 3 hours.
Step 8
Peel the last orange and slice the flesh into rounds. Remove the cake from the mold, dust with cocoa, and decorate with the orange slices on top.
