Ingredients
- Butter - 5 oz
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
- Sugar - ½ cup
- Shredded Coconut - 1 cup
- Oats - 1 cup
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Baking Soda - 1½ teaspoons
- Boiling water - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix softened butter, flour, sugar, and shredded coconut.
Step 2
Dissolve the baking soda in boiling water and add it to the dough. Stir well.
Step 3
Add honey and oats. Mix the dough with your hands.
Step 4
Shape into balls about 3 cm in diameter. Place them about 5 cm apart on a greased baking sheet.
Step 5
Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 16-20 minutes or until light brown.
Step 6
Remove the baking sheet and let the biscuits cool for 5 minutes before transferring them, or they will crumble.
