- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Salt - 2 teaspoons
- Sour Cream - 1 can
- Candied fruits - 1.8 oz
- Granulated sugar - ½ cup
- Chopped almonds - 1.8 oz
- Cottage cheese - 6 lbs
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place wet fresh cottage cheese under a press overnight, then pass it through a sieve.
Step 2
Add sour cream, butter, salt, and sugar to the cottage cheese. Mix in the chopped candied fruits and ground almonds.
Step 3
Transfer the mixture into a wooden mold lined with a thin napkin. Leave it under a press for a day.
Step 4
Carefully remove the Easter cake onto a plate and, if desired, decorate with remaining nuts and candied fruits.
