- Wheat Flour - 17.6 oz
- Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Onion - 3 pieces
- Capers - 1 tablespoon
- Dry yeast - 0.3 oz
- Water - 7 fl oz
- Olive Oil - 3 fl oz
- Salt - ½ spoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Dissolve the yeast in a small amount of warm water. Place the flour in a large bowl and make a well in the center. Pour in the olive oil and add salt. Add the yeast mixture and the remaining water, then knead the dough until it becomes soft and elastic.
Step 2
Place the dough in a greased baking dish or skillet, cover it, and leave it in a warm place until the dough doubles in size.
Step 3
Shape the dough into a disc about 1 cm thick using your hands.
Step 4
Slice the onions and tomatoes into thin rings. Arrange the tomatoes on the dough, then place the onion rings on top and sprinkle with capers. Season with pepper to taste.
Step 5
Drizzle with olive oil and place in a preheated oven at 392°F for 1 hour.
