Trifle with Fresh Strawberries, Turkish Delight, and Chocolate
Ingredients
- Jelly Roll - 6.2 oz
- Raspberry gin - 3 fl oz
- Strawberry - 21.2 oz
- Turkish Delight - 7.1 oz
- Custard - 17.6 oz
- Cream (40%) - 12 fl oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 1.8 oz
- Powdered Sugar - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the jelly roll into 1 cm thick pieces and place them at the bottom of a round trifle dish. Drizzle with liqueur, then layer two-thirds of the halved strawberries on top.
Step 2
Cut the Turkish delight and place it over the berries. Then pour the custard over everything.
Step 3
In a bowl, whip the cream until stiff peaks form. Spread it over the custard and decorate with fresh berries on top.
Step 4
Grate the chocolate and sprinkle it over the trifle. Finally, dust with powdered sugar.
