Description
If you don't have walnuts, you can substitute them with hazelnuts.
Ingredients
- Yogurt powder - 3 fl oz
- Butter - 4.4 oz
- Whole egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 3 cups
- Baking Powder - 2 teaspoons
- Vegetable Oil - 1 fl oz
- Tahini - 7.1 oz
- Walnuts - 3 oz
- Sugar - ½ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
For the filling, finely chop the walnuts, transfer to a bowl, add sugar and tahini. Mix thoroughly.
Step 2
For the dough, in a large bowl, place the softened butter, yogurt (plain, without additives), egg yolk, add vegetable oil and mix again.
Step 3
Gradually sift the flour into the mixture, add baking powder. Knead the dough.
Step 4
Divide the dough into three parts. Sprinkle the table with flour, roll the first piece into a thin long rope with your hands, slightly press with your fingers and roll it out into a strip with a rolling pin.
Step 5
Place the filling in the center along the entire length, seal the sides, lightly sprinkle with flour and turn it seam side down.
Step 6
Cut the strip diagonally into small pieces, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Step 7
Bake in an oven preheated to 356°F for 25 minutes.
Step 8
If desired, the finished cookies can be dusted with powdered sugar.
