Ingredients
- Coarsely Ground Rye Flour - 5 oz
- Wheat Flour - 10 oz
- Baking Powder - 0 oz
- Butter - 0 oz
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Buttermilk - 10 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sift the flour. Mix all the dry ingredients, add the oil, and blend with a mixer.
Step 2
When the mixture resembles sand, continue kneading the dough with the mixer and pour in the buttermilk. Knead until smooth and uniform.
Step 3
Shape the bread and place it on a floured baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake for 30-40 minutes at 480°F in a steam oven. If you don't have a steam oven, spray water on the oven walls 10 minutes after placing the bread inside.
