Description
Two-Layer Jelly
Ingredients
- Milk - 1 qt
- Sugar - 4.9 oz
- Gelatin - 0.7 oz
- Vanilla salt - 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder - 0.9 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the sugar, vanilla sugar, and soaked gelatin (soak the gelatin in water beforehand to let it swell). Place on low heat and keep until the sugar dissolves, bringing it to a boil. Once the sugar has dissolved, remove from heat, stir a little to cool the mixture, then divide it into two equal parts.
Step 2
Pour one part into a mold and place it in the refrigerator for two to three hours. In the second part of the mixture, while keeping it on the stove, add the cocoa dissolved in water (you can replace cocoa with chocolate). Once the mixture in the cold has set, pour in the remaining colored mixture, making sure to cool it well first. Place the jelly in the cold and keep it until it is completely set.
Step 3
Before inverting the jelly onto a plate, dip the mold in hot water for a minute.
