Vanilla Almond Crescents
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 7.1 oz
- Butter - 7.1 oz
- Ground Almonds - 4.4 oz
- Sugar - 6.2 oz
- Corn Starch - 3.5 oz
- White Beans - 1 piece
- Vanilla salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Combine the ground almonds, flour, cornstarch, 2/3 of the sugar, the pulp of the vanilla bean, and vanilla sugar on a board.
Step 2
Add the butter in flakes and quickly knead the dough. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Roll the dough into a sausage shape, cut into pieces the size of a walnut, and shape into crescents.
Step 4
Place on a greased baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes at 302°F.
Step 5
Remove the cookies from the baking sheet and immediately roll in the remaining vanilla sugar mixture.
