Vanilla Cake
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Wheat Flour - 12.5 oz
- Sugar - 15.9 oz
- Butter - 12.3 oz
- Vinegar essence - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 338°F. Grease and flour a 25 cm diameter cake pan with a tube in the middle.
Step 2
In a large bowl, using an electric mixer on low speed, beat the butter and granulated sugar. Increase the speed and continue beating for another 5 minutes. Add the vanilla essence, salt, and eggs. Reduce the speed, mix well, occasionally scraping the batter from the sides of the bowl. Increase the mixer speed and beat for another 3 minutes. Add the flour and mix with a whisk. Pour the mixture into the pan.
Step 3
Bake for 60–70 minutes or until a wooden toothpick comes out of the cake clean. Cool the cake in the pan on a rack for 10 minutes. Remove the cake from the pan. Cool completely on a rack. Dust with powdered sugar.
